I really like the Pi My Life Up guides. https://pimylifeup.com/.
Why do I like Pi My Life Up?
The Pi My Life Up guides are simple & easy to follow. There are guides for most of the home projects to do with a Raspberry Pi. Instructions and examples for many useful projects like building ssh keys to secure devices accessed remotely.
Even though the guides are written with the Raspberry Pi in mind, in my experience the guides work for anything Debian – Bullseye or Bookworm.
Note, anywhere Pi My Life UP references the user ‘pi’, replace it with your user. This is a hold over from when the initial user in a pi image was the user ‘pi’.
Some of the guides I repeatedly use:
SSH Keys
Pihole
NFS Server –
LAMP Servers:
Linux
Apache and PHP
Mysql
WordPress (on LAMP)
Let’s Encrypt
NFS Server
Open Media Vault
NAS
Nginx Proxy (also try Traefik)
Pihole
And they have guides for other things to like Linux, Home Assistant, Synology…
Pi My Life Up has been a great resource for me as a beginner, and relevant as I progress. I reference them a lot, especially adding SSH keys.
